Warehouse Storeperson

Based on the outskirts of Hamilton, you’ll join a small, supportive team running the outbound goods area of a fast-paced premium FMCG warehouse. This hands-on role involves picking and packing premium products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. You will be the go-to person ensuring orders are processed from pallet racks to courier-ready collections, getting stock out the door. A clean tidy warehouse is essential, so when it's quiet you enjoy keeping things shipshape. The role requires confidence operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts (with up to date current licences), you've done this type of work before. 

We’re looking for someone reliable, comfortable standing for most of the day and happy to get stuck in. If you’ve worked in a food manufacturing or food production environment before, you’ll feel right at home. You enjoy hard work and like to get on with the job as there is no room for 'taking it easy'. Previous experience with warehouse software and being able to operate a computer well, is a bonus. 

You will have:

• Current reach & counterbalance forklift certificates
• Strong team player and good communicator
• Reliable and able to commit for up to 10 weeks
• Confidence using a computer and warehouse software
• Solid, previous experience in fast-paced warehouse environment
• Understanding of order process and shipment-ready collections
• Own transport to get to and from work, this is not on public transport line - parking is provided

As part of the recruitment process, you will undergo drug and alcohol testing and be able to provide a recent clean MOJ (Ministry of Justice) check.
