Production Storeperson

We’re looking for a hands-on Production Storeperson to join a well-run manufacturing site supporting the assembly team and keeping production moving without delays.

This is a 6 week temporary assignment with strong potential to become permanent for the right person.

What your day could look like 

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role where you’re right in the middle of both warehouse and production. Things move quickly, and the team relies on each other to keep everything running without interruption.

You’ll be moving between the warehouse and assembly floor, making sure parts and materials are in the right place at the right time. One moment you’re on the forklift, the next you’re picking and packing orders or supporting production to keep things flowing.

You’ll also be involved in stock takes and general warehouse movement, so there’s always variety in your day.

Key parts of your day:

• Delivering parts and materials to production before they’re needed
• Operating forklift daily (counterbalance & stock picker)
• Picking, packing and preparing items for dispatch
• Monitoring stock levels and replenishing as required
• Maintaining accurate records and organised stock areas

What you will bring

You’ve worked in a warehouse or manufacturing environment before and understand how important timing, accuracy and reliability are in keeping production moving.

You’re physically fit, comfortable with hands on work and confident operating a forklift across a busy site. You take ownership, notice when stock is running low and act before it becomes a problem.

Previous experience using basic computer or inventory systems to keep things accurate and organised is ideal, along with a reliable, positive attitude.

• Warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Forklift licence (counterbalance & stock picker) – essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with active work
• Strong attention to detail and stock accuracy
• Reliable, team-focused attitude – no job too big or too small

• Temporary assignment for 6 weeks, working 7:30am - 4:00pm with no late nights or weekends.
• Weekly pay on a Wednesday, between $26.50 - $28.50 per hour + 8% holiday pay.
