The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, autonomous and experienced Sales Specialist for a unique opportunity to represent a trusted brand within the NZ farming community, working remotely from anywhere in New Zealand.

Your primary goal will be to convert qualified leads into lasting, profitable customer partnerships. This role requires an individual who is a strong relationship builder, capable of managing the entire sales lifecycle from initial contact through to successfully closing the deal and ensuring seamless onboarding. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture provided leads, transforming initial interest into long-term, meaningful partnerships
  • Own the end-to-end sales process, including initial consultation, product presentation, proposal generation, negotiation, and closing
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs within the agricultural sector to effectively position product solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer information
  • Contribute positively to the down-to-earth, remote team culture

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated success in a sales role, managing the full sales cycle from lead conversion to close
  • Must have prior experience working within the farming, agriculture, or a closely related primary industry sector. You need to know who you're dealing with
  • Exceptional ability to build genuine rapport and establish credibility quickly with farmers and agribusiness professionals
  • Highly disciplined, motivated, and effective at working independently in a remote environment
