Service Representative

The role:
 
This role is a Service Representative role within the tooling supply industry requiring a proactive self driven personality to meet realistic KPI's on a calling cycle that drives natural sales growth.  You will be calling on manufacturing businesses with product delivery and collections in this social, sales based role, always looking for new opportunities and maximising your time on the road with drop ins, friendly call ins to new and existing clients, as well as making phone calls and dropping emails to capture as much of the market share as possible.  The key to your success in this role is your ability to drive sales demand daily, upsell where a customer may have a problem needing solving, maintain and expand on existing client relationships and develop your territory to its fullest.  

You do not need technical experience, but you do need a background as someone who has a friendly approach to networking for sales, and a great proactive attitude towards your own work day. 
 
You will:

• Bring a willing to learn attitude; but have a natural pathway into this role from your current experience
• Be a level headed and reliable sales person who thrives on the wins and has an understanding of call cycles
• Genuinely enjoy conversation and the process of finding the key person in a business, persistent but not pushy, and service focused
• Have a full drivers license; and a clean record
• Have an excellent handle on written and spoken English
• Enjoy a small but punchy team and the thrill of hitting sales targets
• Have some sales based experience and be very people focused, able to chat with all walks of life

This is a personality based role, the right person will be social, friendly and reliable, but ultimately you'll be driven to develop new connections and efficient at converting these to new customers.  The right person is someone who is looking to develop a career.  This is a very niche industry and by joining you'll gain invaluable knowledge as one of very few experts in a small industry sector, adding immense long term value to your background in an industry that is highly technical, and an essential manufacturing supplier. 
 
With use of the company delivery van, you will do daily drop offs and collections to already established partnerships, always with the intention to grow and develop your territory and your service delivery.  There is already a set customer base, and you'll find your product is well received in the market.
