My client was founded in 2017 by a passionate bunch of Kiwis who value craftsmanship and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Building a premium liquor portfolio that is loved and consumed by discerning Kiwi drinkers. You’ll be the face of the company - you'll be out in the trade working with customers to develop my clients’ business as well as theirs. Your proven experience working in the Liquor industry as a Territory Manager means you can hit the ground running and know how to provide an outstanding level of customer service to Off Premise customers. Based in Tauranga, you will cover the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Coromandel and surrounding region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proven experience as a Territory Manager in the Liquor industry or FMCG. Your attitude and ability to sell will be second to none
  • Foster strong partnerships and long lasting relationships with Off Premise customers
  • Identify and capitalise on local market opportunities to build sales and profitability
  • Entrepreneurial approach means you will always be on the look out for new distribution opportunities and you will be motivated to continually hit sales targets
  • High level of commercial acumen and understanding in trade maths ensures accurate pricing
  • Merchandising and activating promotional plans with customers
  • Work collaboratively with a team of liquor industry experts and supportive head office team
  • You are accountable and have experience producing accurate reports including; daily log calls, weekly plans and territory performance summaries.
  • Executing sales plans, managing monthly call plans and driving further growth of your account base and overall business is what motivates you. 
  • Work at consistently at good speed, building a strong profitable territory that reflects your efforts.
  • You’ll know the area well and be comfortable navigating the surrounding areas. 

You will have:

  • Able to demonstrate sales experience and proven territory management skills with a minimum of 3-5 years in Liquor industry or FMCG
  • Drive, motivation, and a passion for sales - a self-starter who loves the chase and ability to close the deal
  • Excellent organisation, communication and relationships at store level to achieve sales targets.
  • Outstanding customer service satisfaction focus
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions - you’re a problem solver
  • Someone who has growth aspirations, looks forward to dealing with challenges and is not scared to pitch in when needed
  • You want to be part of a team where collaboration, success and a sense of humour are integral to the culture of the company
