Team Leader / Supervisor – New Production Line

Working day shift, you'll manage a team of 8-9, running the line autonomously while reporting to management and playing a hands-on role in shaping how the line operates as it develops.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new production line from the ground up. You'll help shape how the line runs, working out the detail and contributing to the instructions and processes as they're developed. You'll manage a small, close-knit team of 8-9, running the line autonomously day-to-day while reporting into management, with a clear path to progress your role as you grow into the position.

• Lead, coach, and support a team of 8-9 production staff.
• Help develop processes, instructions, and best practices as the new line comes online.
• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently met.
• Calculate quantities and requirements accurately to support planning and output.
• Get hands-on with fault-finding and troubleshooting across the process line.

About You

You're a confident, hands-on leader with a background in manufacturing, from packing and FMCG production, ideally within a kitchen, bakery, or food-manufacturing environment. You think outside the box, take initiative, and enjoy being part of working out how things should run rather.

• Proven experience in a team leader, supervisor, or shift management role.
• Manufacturing background in packing/FMCG — kitchen, bakery, or food production and packaging experience highly regarded..
• Good mechanical understanding of process lines, comfortable getting stuck in for fault-finding.
• Proactive, practical mindset — happy to take initiative and help build out processes and instructions.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
