What you'll be doing
This role is focused on new business growth. You’ll take the lead on new business strategy, identifying opportunities, mapping the market and getting in front of decision makers.
You’ll be working with small to medium sized businesses across New Zealand who are ready to invest in growth. They’re ambitious, they want to scale and you’ll be the one guiding that conversation, understanding where they’re at, where they want to go and how digital marketing can get them there.
You’ll lead conversations end to end, from first contact through to pitching tailored strategies. Once onboarded, you’ll stay close to the relationship, working alongside a strong delivery team to ensure outcomes land and clients continue to grow.
This is a client-facing role where relationships matter. You’ll build trust, add value and become a long-term partner, not just someone who closes a deal and moves on.

- Mapping target markets and identifying high value opportunities
- Engaging directly with business owners and decision makers
- Leading strategic conversations and presenting tailored solutions
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure strong delivery and client outcomes
Who are you?
You’re a proven new business hunter who knows how to win.
You understand the marketing landscape - what works, what doesn’t and how to position it in a way that makes sense to a business owner.
You’re confident getting in front of decision makers, asking the right questions and leading conversations that turn into long term partnerships.
You will bring:
- Proven success in a BDM and or Sales growth role within a marketing, advertising or similar industry
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and how it drives business growth
- A consultative, solutions led approach with a sharp commercial mindset
- Strong relationship management skills with a focus on long term outcomes
- A genuine drive to earn well and be rewarded for your performance
