This varied role will see you working within the manufacturing/construction industry, acting as the go-to support person within the operations team. A pivotal position with a strong focus on compliance and quality assurance.

About the role:

This is a newly created role within the business, due to growth and expansion. You will be working from a brand-new office space in Wiri, with flexibility on your start and finish times. Perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident in their problem-solving skills.

This role will see you providing vital support to the Operations and Production teams, ensuring everything runs smoothly on site. You’ll play a key role in compliance, health & safety, and quality processes for the factory, as well as some travel bookings and diary management.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Supporting compliance, health & safety, and quality systems

  • Supporting operations and production managers with admin, scheduling, and coordination

  • Handling vehicle management and related system updates

  • Taking care of reception duties and being the first point of contact on site

  • Booking travel and accommodation

  • General admin support across the business

  • Collaborating with project coordinators in other teams (sales, production, etc)

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous administration experience within the construction, building, or manufacturing sector

  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple tasks

  • Confident and adaptable, with excellent communication skills

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced role and able to build strong working relationships

  • A sense of humour and team spirit – someone who brings energy to the role

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence using systems (experience with LinkSafe is an advantage)
