Looking for a role that fits both your professional goals and your lifestyle?

We’re recruiting experienced Clinical Psychologists for a wide range of opportunities across New Zealand within both the public and private health sectors.

Whether you’re looking for a busy metropolitan service, a close-knit regional community, coastal living, or better work-life balance, we’d love to help you find the right fit.

We work with a variety of organisations offering opportunities across multiple specialty areas including:

  • Adult Mental Health
  • Child & Adolescent Services
  • Community Mental Health
  • Acute & Crisis Services
  • Forensic Services
  • Addiction & AOD
  • Eating Disorders
  • Rehabilitation
  • Primary Mental Health
  • Private Practice & Specialist Clinics
  • EAP

About the Opportunities

These roles offer the chance to work alongside highly skilled multidisciplinary teams delivering meaningful, person-centred mental health care to individuals, whānau, and communities across Aotearoa.

We understand that every psychologist is looking for something different — whether that’s career progression, flexibility, specialist practice, lifestyle change, or simply a healthier balance between work and life.

Talk to us about what matters most to you, and we’ll work closely to match opportunities with your professional interests, preferred locations, and lifestyle goals.

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in speaking with Clinical Psychologists who bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ post-graduate clinical experience
  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Clinical Psychologist in New Zealand
  • Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills
  • Commitment to person-centred and culturally responsive practice
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Passion for supporting positive mental health outcomes

Why Consider New Zealand?

New Zealand offers a unique opportunity to build a rewarding career while enjoying an exceptional lifestyle.

Imagine finishing work and being minutes from beaches, hiking trails, mountain bike parks, wineries, or vibrant cafés.

Whether you prefer city living, regional communities, or coastal towns, New Zealand offers space to breathe and time to enjoy life outside of work.

Many of the organisations we partner with genuinely value staff wellbeing and support sustainable workloads, flexibility, professional growth, and strong team cultures.

What’s on Offer

Depending on the role and location, benefits may include:

  • Competitive salary packages
  • Professional development and training opportunities
  • Clinical supervision and career progression support
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Relocation assistance (case-by-case basis)
  • Supportive multidisciplinary team environments
  • Opportunities across both public and private sectors

Let’s Find the Right Fit

If you’re considering your next move — now or in the future — we’d love to have a confidential conversation.

Tell us what your ideal role and lifestyle look like, and we’ll help connect you with opportunities that align as closely as possible.
