What You’ll Bring

To be considered, you’ll typically require:

• Fellowship or equivalent specialist qualification in Psychiatry
• Eligibility for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
• Experience working within public or private mental health services
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Commitment to culturally responsive and recovery-focused practice

Psychiatrists from the UK, Ireland, Australia, and several comparable healthcare systems may be eligible for streamlined registration pathways.
