We’re working with a well-established NZ business looking for an Accounts Receivable & Administration Assistant to join their close-knit finance team. This is a varied position where no two days are quite the same, and you’ll play an important role in helping things run smoothly in the accounts team. 

You’ll be responsible for: 

  • Daily customer banking and payment processing
  • Managing the accounts inbox and customer queries
  • Preparing invoices, statements and credit notes
  • Supporting the Credit Controller when needed
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing
  • General administration support across the team

There’s also the opportunity to get involved with ongoing improvements to their ERP system (NetSuite), so it’s a great role for someone who enjoys systems and likes finding smarter ways of doing things.

The right person will have:

  • Previous accounts receivable / finance administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A calm, professional communication style
  • Someone happy to roll up their sleeves and help where needed
  • Good systems confidence and a willingness to learn
